Melissa + Mark 11.21.09

It took a whole gang of us to photograph this photographer’s wedding. Melissa is the talent behind MGM Photography and an all around cool chick. My partner in crime, Sue, of Sue B Photography and I were honored when she asked if we’d be the ones to capture her special day. And just for kicks we dragged along another shutter bug, Mike Dill. I believe he thinks Sue and I are completely nuts when we shoot together. He’s absolutely right, but we do have loads of fun!

We started the day at Melissa’s home and met her wonderful family and friends. Of course we took the usual getting ready shots. Her dress was gorgeous, but the next shot is so Melissa - goofy with a teeth brushing fetish.

Next it was off to the ceremony and the ring bearer took his job very seriously.

With a break between the ceremony and reception we headed over to Graeme Park in Horsham, PA. What a cool place! The major stress of the day was over with and we had a blast getting to know Mark.

A marvelous day for a marvelous couple! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.

Ta-Daa (Wrapping Up Holiday Card Sessions)

Phew, I did it! I made it through another crazy shooting schedule. And I’m going out with a bang photographing one of my all time favorite set of boys. This duo is a blast! Big brother is just as handsome and helpful as ever. Little brother is full of spunk and personality. They always make me smile.

I love the caps mom brought so I gave this image an old time feel with sepia toning. Thanks for a picture perfect day! More images to come.

Now if I can only survive processing all the orders and card designs…

Every Child Should Be This Blessed

I had the pleasure of photographing a brand spankin’ new little man who happens to have the most wonderful parents. And like many first time parents the sense of wonder, amazement and love was everywhere. The moment I walked in I could feel just how special this little guy is.

No matter how much careful planning and preparation I do, every child and every session is different. I often change my plans and just go with the flow. This particular little one did not like being undressed and would only settle with a cozy blanket. Dad is also an avid outdoorsman. I love being able to incorporate personal touches in my images.

Can’t leave out another family member. This puppy is the most well behaved 10 month old lab I have ever seen!

Such sweetness in a tiny package! It was wonderful meeting all of you. Congratulations and best wishes with your little blessing!

Brilliant (spoken in my best Scottish accent)

The gorgeous & wonderful family, a perfect fall day, plus one amazing location - it was brilliant! These boys were so much fun and definitely hammed it up for the camera. I got to travel down to my old college stomping grounds in Baltimore for this session. It was neat to see how much things have changed, yet stayed the same. Yep, this is one fabulous family! It was terrific meeting all of you. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. More images to come!

Double Trouble + Brother

Three & half year old twins and their big brother graced me with their presence for another holiday mini session. This gang keeps getting more and more adorable each year. We ran, skipped and sang our way through the session. Rather loudly and off-key on my part but, a grand time was had by all! Each kiddos has their own unique and interesting personality!Ah, a sweet moment for the twins!Got to love a brother who takes care of the little ones. I’ll have more images for you soon!
