Tweens and a Pooch

I had the pleasure of capturing these two wonderful siblings during a holiday mini session and they brought along their new puppy. She’s a mix of 6 different breeds and is pretty darn spunky. I’m always up for a challenge and adding pets certainly ups the ante. While the pooch is adorable, the tweens are the gorgeous ones you need to see!Look ma, they can get along and be kind & loving to one another. Well, at least for a brief moment in front of the camera! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek.

Plan D

As an on-location child photographer it’s always good to have a back up plan in case of inclement weather or illness. However, for this session multiple back up plans were necessary. This has been one wet fall! It’s ironic that the most difficult session to get in is the one that has been on my books the longest - these folks scheduled in June! Well, we did it with smashing results. Little mister was just as handsome as can be. And the whole family is gorgeous as well.Of course I always capture images of happy, smiling children, but I like a wide range of emotions as well. Nothing beats a good grumpy face!Go Phillies! We’re huge fans here as well. It was a pleasure to see you in front of my camera again. More to come…

Just For You, Mom

How do you torture four sports lovin’ fellas? Drag them away from their games on a beautiful fall Sunday afternoon to spend some time with a wacky lady and her camera. Fortunately, the Phillies and Eagles had the day off. It was important for mom to have photographs of these handsome young men all together before the oldest leaves the nest for college next year. Here you go mom, the whole family together!

And now the drum roll please… Each brother from oldest to youngest. It was neat getting to know each of these fellas. Of course, I captured the traditional group portrait, but this is the one that shows off each individual personalities. The oldest and youngest were outgoing with the quiet, shy ones in the middle. Thanks for giving up that pick-up game. I know it means the world to your mom!

A Bit of Mud

With lots of sunshine, yippee! Sorry for the extra laundry, but I believe it was worth it for these images. Here are 3 wonderful kiddos who I’ve photographed on numerous occasions. They are regulars in the McCormick home since big brother is my son’s best buddy! Plus their parents are wicked cool and good lookin’. Next time I must photograph the whole family - so get ready dad! Here are the handsome brothers looking so grown up (but I know better)!Little sister isn’t always this serious. Just being a fickle 3 year old at the moment. I am so jealous of her stunning blue eyes!Gotcha - pretty girl! To be continued…

They’re Sweet, But Not…

Made out of sugar (or else they would have melted). Yup, yesterday’s session was in the rain. All right, not a torrential downpour like what’s happening now, but it was definitely sprinkling. Mom has a packed schedule similar to my own and we decided to just go for it. I am so happy we did. Brother and sister have been in front of my camera before and they brought along the exchange student who is now a part of the family. One word for all three : Gorgeous!Okay, I took this shot simply because I like the door. It’s that rustic, shabby chic cool. But here’s a closer up so you can appreciate this young beauty! And now the other spectacular ones…Don’t worry mom, I have many more images to select from for the holiday card. But this one is my favorite! I wish I could bottle that happiness.

A Glorious Afternoon

Brilliant sun, gorgeous fall foliage, warm temperatures plus amazing blue-green eyes and dimples galore on these handsome fellas. After the miserable rain last weekend we just had to take advantage of yesterday’s beautiful weather. It was a grand time stomping around the field and creek with this rockin’ family.Had to get a few with mom and dad as well. What a fun-loving family! More images to come.

Mr. Monkey Saves the Day

Yesterday morning I had two wonderful little ladies in front of my camera. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them before and it never fails to amaze me how much children grow in a year. At this point in my photography career I have a whole arsenal of tricks up my sleeve in order to capture the expressions I want. However, nothing was working for little sister. She is quite a strong willed and independent child (gotta love a girl who can stand up for herself!). That is until I pulled out Mr. Monkey. Nothing particularly special about this monkey, but she loved him!Big sister is a sweetheart. Yes, she does look a bit shy here. But don’t let that fool you. She is a regular chatterbox!Ahh, a tender moment between sisters. I wonder if they are looking at a leaf or a bug (could be that wonder candy Smarties too). Either way it is very sweet. Great to see you again!

Whoa, What a Workout!

I skipped my normal run yesterday morning in order to photograph this session figuring I’d get to it later in the day. No need - these little buggers had me sprinting! Four adorable children all under the age of 6. Each one gorgeous and so much fun to capture. Mom and dad were phenomenal to work with. They just went with the flow and had realistic expectations of getting cooperation at the same time. But look, we did it!Ah, my famous bucket picture again. But I couldn’t resist with this absolute cutie pie. Just look at those dimples and the fabulous curls! What a good looking and terrific family. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. Many, many more images to come!

The Session That Almost Didn’t Happen

Yesterday I woke up to gray, rainy skies that would not have worked at all for my scheduled morning session. To to it off, oldest brother had a fever. So mom and I made plans for a reschedule. Fast forward 1 hour - clouds floated away revealing brilliant blue skies and the wonder drug Advil had kicked in leaving me with 3 silly and energetic boys.I just love this baby in a bucket image. It’s simply the best way to contain crawling infants! I’m so happy we decided to go for it. The fall foliage is perfect!

Picture Perfect

I held several back to back Holiday Mini Session over the weekend and the word that pops into my mind about the day is: SPECTACULAR. Warm sunshine and beautiful children (plus tweens too!). What a terrific combination! Here are two of those sessions (sorry I can’t show the 3rd, so you’ll just have to take my word that all my subjects were adorable).Good to have all of you in front of my camera again. I’ll have lots more images (and silly ones too) as well as some wicked cool card concepts on the way soon!
