A Dynamic Duo

Yesterday I got to play in the park with an almost 9 and almost 6 year old. Big brother was laid back and as easy going as a kiddo can come. He was wearing lizard pants - my favorite critter. I knew we’d get along right from the start! Little sister was quite spunky and loved (I mean LOVED) being in front of my camera. She gave me a range of expression from happy to silly to sassy and even serious. What a gorgeous AND dynamic duo! Hope you enjoyed your special milkshakes afterward - yummy. More images on the way soon.

Brown Eyed Girl

We’re talking gorgeous, huge brown eyes with lashes to die for on this wonderful one year old! What an absolute sweetheart. We went to my favorite park and she was a real trooper in the heat. While little missy was particular to where she wanted to go, she loved pulling weeds and digging in the dirt. I think we may have a future gardener here.Mom & Dad were great fun too! What a terrific afternoon. Thanks for letting me play with your adorable daughter. More images to come!

Mr. Cheeks + Sisters

My brother and his family were in town for a visit. They live in the mid west and unfortunately we don’t get to see each other very often. I finally got to meet my nephew who I have given the nickname Mr. Cheeks - this super chunk has rolls in all the right places! His sisters are a blast as well. My Kiera had a ball with her cousins (sorry about all the ruckus Grammy!).

I don’t think Mr. Cheeks finds me as funny as his sisters. Good to see you all again - move to the East Coast, will ya!

Little Darlings

I had a wonderful time photographing these three amazing girls. Each unique in her own personality, yet all were so well behaved and so kind to each other. Plus it was hottest, muggiest day of the year - not a wimper or complaint (I, however was whining about needing a shower!).Gotta love this image of all three together. Little girls + white sundresses = perfection!A quick change into fun clothing. This spunky little darling is the spitting image of her mother. Many more images coming mom & dad. I’m sorry, but your going to have a tough time picking out your favorites. I have way too many terrific images to show you!

Alisyn & Nino

My sidekick and bestest photographer buddy, Sue from Sue B. Photography, had me tag along to help her capture Alisyn & Nino’s special day. And what a day it was! The ceremony was held at the beautiful Haddonfield Methodist Church with a wonderful reception following at the Tavistock Country Club. I started the day photographing the guys and I wasn’t quite sure what I walked into at first. But in no time I was able to deliver my own whitty comebacks for this squad of characters. Here they are looking handsome in front of their man fort (which I was not allowed in, but hear it’s a kickin’ place during Eagles games).Smiles all around for this outstanding couple. Congratulations Alisyn & Nino - best wishes for a lifetime of happiness!

I’m Back

Yep, I’m home again from a very relaxing trip to the beach and then a jam packed, head exploding workshop in Raleigh, NC. I was at the East Coast School studying “The Power of Light” with the ever so talented (and all around great guy) Tony Corbell. It was a terrific class, I have all kinds of new tricks up my sleeve, and met lots of cool photographer friends!

Here a few images from our practice sessions. They are very different from my usual style, but it was fun to play with studio lights. Bet you can’t tell which one is a fellow student and which one is the model! Now you might recognize this model - it’s me! The image was taken my the wonderful Quiana of Quiana L. Duncan Photography. She is an amazing wedding photographer in the US Virgin Islands. You must look her up if you are planning a destination wedding! While it was great to be away, there’s nothing like home sweet home!
