The More the Merrier

Phew, what started out as a First Comunion session end up being a family one as well. Miss Delaney posed like a veteran model in her gorgeous dress and then did a quick change for a more casual look. History repeats itself - big sister Reilly was in front of my lens two years ago for her First Communion. What a beauty! Can’t leave out those goofy boys! Thanks for a fun night. Hope you enjoyed the tease!

Fun Family

This is another one of my all time favorite families. Ally was the star of the show today, however I had the pleasure of photographing big sister, Emily, for her First Communion as well. Aren’t these two gorgeous? It was surprisingly HOT like in the dog days of summer, but no one melted!

This was quite an extended First Communion session. We had lots of relatives present including grandparents, 2 Godmothers, a cousin and mom, dad & big sister of course. So much love to go around! Here’s a cutie pie!You look beautiful Ally. Best of luck on your big day! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek.

Mr. Cool

Still photographing First Holy Communions like crazy, however this time I was able to capture a young gentleman. Beau is one righteous dude!I am proud to call this family one of my regulars. Two years ago I photographed big sister, Shannon, for her First Communion as well. It is amazing how much she has grown. She’s more beautiful than ever! Had to grab the whole family for a bit! What a good lookin’ gang. Gotcha! Thanks Mr. Cool. Stay tuned, more images to come.

Pretty as a Princess

Another beautiful young lady for her First Holy Communion. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Miss Katherine on numerous occasions and she just keeps getting more lovely each time.Little brother, Jack, tagged along and waited patiently so he could get to his baseball game. Even though Katherine was the star of the show I had to have him in front of my camera for an image or two. What a handsome devil! I love this fun and silly side of Katherine. First Communion is a reason to celebrate after all!My goodness these kiddos are growing up fast! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek.

Happy Birthday Pudge!

Today my middle child, Brian, turns 8! Even though he is no longer a fat, roly poly baby he will always be a my Pudge. He has grown into a kind, generous & happy kid. He is especially happy today as we gave him the ipod he has been talking nonstop about for months. I am quite nervous he is going to blast himself a hearing loss!Brian had a ton of nicknames as a baby: the raptor (he had colic), Dr. Evil (he was bald) and many others because he was such a chunk. One of those was Abe Froman. Now for all you faithful blog readers out there, I’m in a gift giving kind of mood today. I’ve got 2 free gift prints for the first person who can tell me who Abe Froman is and what movie he was mentioned in. No fair googling it! My buddy, Jordan, would know this in a heartbeat! Click on his name if you need a fantastic wedding photographer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUDGE!

Terrific Twins

It was double trouble for me yesterday - wild and crazy 6 year olds! They brought their Webkinz who liked to sit on my head while I photographed! These guys were quite silly and we had a fun romp together. Alex is just as handsome as can be.I love this serious side of the beautiful Kelsey.

And together I got nothing but huge smiles. Happy kiddos rock! Hang loose - I’ll have lots more images to come!

First Holy Communion - part deux

Another set of beautiful princesses yesterday for the most gorgeous day of the season thus far (today was even better - yea spring!). These girls had some serious stamina and would have posed for me all night. Moira and little sister, Reenie, were a blast! Mom & dad were super laid back and we got along smashingly. It was fun to go down memory lane with them - dad & I graduated from high school the same year and we all had mutual friends. Wilmington is a small town. After being serious and calm in fancy clothes, the girls changed and to quote Max, we “let the wild rumpus start!”

Toodles! What a styling pair of fun-loving gals and I love Moira’s ultra hip glasses. Thanks for such a great afternoon. I’ll be in touch with more images soon.

First Holy Communion

Spring has sprung and so has First Holy Communion season. We were lucky yesterday as the often rainy weather this time of year was cooperative. A tad chilly, but these two were troopers. We had so much fun together and managed to kept gorgeous Kayleigh & her dress clean for the big event! Little sister, Julia, was so patient for her turn. She is quite a beauty as well!

The girls had the giggles and got downright silly together, but here’s a sweet moment to warm mom & dad’s hearts.

!t’s important to stop and smell the flowers.

This is one terrific family. Thanks for letting me play with your gang, they are a hoot! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!

It’s a…GIRL!

Yippee, after a streak of newborn boys I finally got to play with an adorable little miss! Introducing Michaela Rose. Isn’t she just a beautiful as her name? What a sweet, sweet baby.Lucky day - I caught smile!

When Michaela needed a bit of quiet time to eat, I snagged the big siblings for a romp around outside. Big brother sported a huge grin for me, but I caught the serious side of big sister.

While sleep deprivation has begun to hit mom and dad pretty hard, they couldn’t help but be smitten with this love bug!

If this next image doesn’t make you laugh, nothing will. I get the strange feeling Michaela isn’t diggin’ my new hat!

What a fun afternoon! Hope you enjoyed the teaser.
