My New Baby

Go ahead and drool you other photographers and techies - I am the proud owner or the new Canon 5D Mark II camera! Yep, this baby is hot and in huge demand. But I’ve got connections. My buddies at Camera’s Etc. on Market Street hooked me up. This is the last real camera store in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and service unbeatable. I highly recommend Cameras Etc. for all your photographic needs - tell them I sent you!

Here’s one of the first images out of this slick number. Kiera is so excited for Thanksgiving and has worn this beautiful Pilgrim hat and Indian necklace (got to represent both sides you know) quite often. She is one funny kid! Wishing you and yours and blessed holiday. There is so much to be thankful for!

Lori & Greg 11.22.08

Whoa, what’s this child and family portrait artist doing photographing a wedding? Well, I do take on a few a year for the right couple. That is as long as my trusty sidekick, Sue B of Sue Burrough Photography can do it with me. Sue and I make one heck of a team and this could be the most perfect couple. You can’t help but smile when you are surrounded by the love of these wonderful families. I am honored to have been chosen to document this special day.

Mom had double duty today. She was also the Matron of Honor. Ahh, a quiet moment…And here’s the handsome groom. And now the proud daddy.Just look at the church’s beautiful stained glass windows. The weather was cold, I mean really cold, limiting the outdoor images (there was actually a dusting of snow). But, we did manage to sneak out for just a few. And I’m so glad we did!I just love this shot! The reception was held at the magnificent Grand Ballroom of the Mendenhall Inn.A great time had by all - what a party!

Wow, what an amazing day! Congratulations to Lori and Greg. I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon.

I’ll have more highlights posted on my website by December 6th. Click on the Clients button and enter the password that was provided by Lori & Greg.

Cool Cats

Or should I say crazy cats? It was another chilly one, but these two little fashionistas just had to show off their sparkly outfits. Mom was definitely a cool cat and just went along with the ride. Don’t worry, it was a quick mini session and nobody was cold for long. And here’s handsome little brother. He doesn’t really care what he’s wearing as long as it’s comfy!I’ve had the pleasure of capturing this gang on numerous occasions - they are one of my all time favorites. Beautiful, spunky and sweet all at the same time! Thanks for the fun cool cats!

A Trio of Beauties

Today I had a big sister, a little sister and a cousin along for the ride. Gorgeous each and every one! Don’t let the warm colors fool you. It was quite chilly with a gusty wind blowing. However, everyone was a great sport. Shh, this is a surprise Christmas present for Daddy!Check out these eyes. I am so jealous!

Stunning, simply stunning! And we couldn’t leave the sweet cousin out. She showed me her back bends - what a gymnast! I am very impressed.Time for a giggle!I’ll leave you with what seems to be becoming my signature shot. It’s always such a hoot!Hope you enjoyed the preview. I have lots more images coming!

The Little Girl Who Started it All

Well, she’s not quite a little girl anymore. Back in my film days, when I was still tinkering around with photography for fun, my neighbor asked me to photograph her daughter’s first communion. I had no idea that day would snowball me to a whole new career or how much I would enjoy it (I have the best job in the world, by the way!). The little girl has grown into a beautiful young lady. This is a family with 5 kiddos! And look ma - they were all on their best behavior.Yep, it is wonderful to have close friends as neighbors. We often joke the youngest one is my fourth child. She is right in between my boys and is often the peacemaker in our house (plus she likes to play dolls which keeps Kiera, my youngest, happy). One more gorgeous girl in the family! And finally the handsome twins! With such a cool gang, we could only be good for so long - just had to relax and kick up our feet a bit!Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!

Winding Down

This has been one crazy busy holiday season for me. Between shooting constantly, preparing orders, and being a mom to my active gang this one man (I mean gal) show is ready for a break! While I still have a sprint to go to get everything in to the lab, today was supposed to be my last holiday session. Alas, due to poor weather reschedules and a few more sessions I’m squeaking in, I’m not quite finished. Maybe next week I’ll get that beauty rest!

Today I had the 3 most sweetest children you have ever seen. The baby was adorable with the best expressions (and not walking yet, a big phew for me). Big sister was a natural ham for the camera. And while the middle little man was a bit timid & shy for me, daddy knew exactly how to coax him out of his shell. And drumroll please…  Here’s the whole wonderful family together. Yep, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. The parents are just super too!

I’ll have more images real soon! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek.

A Must See

I want to introduce you to another wicked cool Elizabeth (the best name around, of course). Here she is in her very stylish office with a special helper.

Now Elizabeth is the decorating genius behind my lovely new office. It matches my logo colors perfectly and is just so me. This gal has a knack for style. But while she is hip and up on the latest trends, she is also creative, practical and using her talents to help give Mother Earth a little breather. Elizabeth is the brains behind Mixed Greens Village. This place is going to be big!

We all want to have a comfortable home and it’s fun to decorate for the seasons. However, with the economy taking a dive and the responsibility we all have to use resources wisely it is silly to break the bank on accessories. Check out some of her ideas.Yep, all these creations had a very different past. From an old sweater to a discarded beverage can Elizabeth has found a way to take something old and give it a brand new life. Reminds me of a modern day female MacGyver without the duct tape. She can take just about anything and turn into something cool! Elizabeth also has resources. Mixed Greens Village is a community - she finds other artists to share their ideas as well. Check out Mixed Greens Village to get your creative juices flowing.

Double Trouble

Yep, two families and twins! What a juggling act. Got the whole gang together for grandma and what fun we all had together. I suppose this is one way to keep the little one contained. She seems to be enjoying it!While they are adorable as a group, I also like each of their own unique personalities. Don’t you just love happy kids?So did you figure out who the twins are? No, well here you go.
Gots to show the love in the other family too!
Hope you enjoyed the little teaser. I’ll have more images soon!
